Here are 15 date ideas for a date in Vancouver, BC. Most of these ideas are budget friendly. Whether it's your first or 100th date, these ideas can help you decide on where you're going to go next!

1. Deer lake

Deer lake has beautiful and peaceful scenery. You can also rent a canoe or kayak for a reasonable price and float in the middle of the water and enjoy the view.

2. Stanley park

Stanley park has tons of options from biking to walking in the gardens and sitting under the sun at the beaches. It's a great place to visit in the day or night as the view of the skyline is amazing at both times!

3. Queen Elizabeth Park

This park is great because it's huge! There's tons of nature to walk around in and has an amazing view. There's also a Bloedel Conservatory you can check out and take awesome pictures in.

4. Darvish Hookah Lounge

If you enjoy smoking shish and socializing, Darvish Hookah Lounge is the place to go! They have great shishas, good music and a dim atmosphere. They also provide tea and a couple appetizers that will come in handy incase you get hungry.

5. Rev's bowling

Rev's bowling is an excellent bowling place. On some evenings of the week they are open past midnight and have a dark and lit up bowling alley with backlights so be sure to wear white clothes if you want to glow and stand out from the crowds.

This one is probably going to sound basic but going to a movie theatre and enjoying a good movie and snack is always nice. Try to find a theatre that has reclining seats to get the most comfortable experience.

7. The Vancouver Lookout

The Vancouver Lookout is a bit more on the expensive side but the view from the top is amazing. If you've never been, I would highly recommend you check it out at least once! It has great views during the day, at sunset and also when it's dark. Personally I've never tried the restaurant portion but you can also sit and eat at the restaurant while looking out onto the view.

8. Kitsilano beach

This beach is a great place to walk around in, play volleyball in the sand or take a dip in the ocean.

9. Sunset beach

Watching the sunset as sunset beach is highly recommended. You can bring along a picnic to munch on while the sun is going down.

10. Harbour Green Park

Walking along the seawall and into Harbour green park can be really romantic. You can breathe in the fresh ocean air, watch boats pass by or simply enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains.

11. Quarry Rock

For those of us who are a bit more active, Quarry Rock is an intense short hike of about 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours depending on how fast you hike. Once you get to the top, the view is stunning!

12. Buntzen lake

Have a barbecue and take a dip into Buntzen lake. This lake is beautiful and serene place to spend time in on those hot summer days.

13. Metrotown shopping mall

If the weather is not the best, Metrotown mall is a great place to go shopping because you can spend time talking and getting to know each other more or simply enjoy frozen yogurt or other goodies available at this mall.

14. Cultus lake

Cultus lake is a great option where you can spend the day. There's a waterpark in the area where you can spend time in. Or you can also rent out jet skis or a speedboat for the day and enjoy being on the water surrounded by mountains.

Harrison hot springs is another great place to spend the day in. You can play in the water park or chill at the beach. The resort is another option where you can enjoy the benefits of the hot springs.
