How to lose weight and keep the weight off!


We all want to feel our best and look our best. Our eating and lifestyle habits have a huge impact on our health and appearance so it's important to know how to take care of yourself. By implementing proper nutrition and exercise, you can look and feel your best effortlessly.

In this article, I will share the most basic and fundamental ways of realistically losing weight and getting where you want to be through simple lifestyle changes.


Without proper nutrition, exercise alone will not help you achieve the changes you are looking for. Your eating habits are extremely important because you need to make sure you are receiving all the nutritional elements, vitamins and minerals your body needs to function effortlessly.


As humans, more than 50% of our bodies is made up of water so it's important that we drink enough water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Drinking water will not only help you in your weightless journey but it will also help your body's digestion, other organs in your body as well as the biggest organ, your skin!


I'm sure you've probably heard of the phrase "You are what you eat!" multiple times throughout your life but this is because it's so true. Just like the gas your car takes has to be of good quality, so does the food your body takes as fuel. Too much of anything is not good for your either so eat what you like in moderation and consciously.

Avoid refined sugars and too much salt in your diet. Refined sugars will turn into fat if those calories aren't burnt off right away and lots of sodium can bloating and water retention and inflamation.

Make sure you are eating just enough to be full but not over eating. It helps if you are being conscious while eating and not watching TV. Watching TV or multitasking while eating could result in overeating which should be avoided.

Your last meal of the day should be at least 2-3 hours before your bedtime. Avoid eating or snacking right before bed. It will also help to eat at the same time everyday to get your body in a routine of when to expect food. This will also help in digesting the food and waste elimination.


Exercise is important for everyone regardless of wanting to loose weight or not. All you need is at least 20 minutes a day a few times a week of a moderate workout session. This workout session should include intense cardio in the beginning to lose the unwanted fat. Once you have lost enough weight, you can do other workouts to tone and shape your muscles and create your ideal body shape.
